Our final food preparation this year was making bean burritos! Students used all of their practical life skills to tong, spoon, roll, and taste bean burritos. We also added flower arranging on our shelves. On the movement shelf, we added using a balance beam and, in peace, a liquid stepping tile. As we prepare to close our classroom community for the year, students work to scrub chairs in the classroom, as well as polish classroom materials. This allows the students to utilize skills independently while taking responsibility for our environment. Finally, we planted flowers in our garden beds.
