This week the upper elementary classrooms went to the AG Fest. First, we went to the petting farm and got to pet animals. Next, we got to play with chicks.  After that, we learned about seed formation. Lastly, we learned about kinds of soil. We also got in teams of two to build support structures using Popsicle sticks, wooden dowels, and tie-wraps. It was a lot of fun!

In the classroom, we’ve had our last two rehearsals for our Midsummer Night’s Dream play. The 6th grade students have been busy finishing up their science fair projects, while the 4th year students have been working through their second research project for writer’s workshop.
