Whisking, pouring, spooning and tonging, oh my! Oh the wonderful learning experiences we have through practical life work! Noted in the pictures above children are using a whisk with water and soap to make bubbles! Other practical life work includes real jobs within the classroom such as folding towels and helping with the laundry!

Check out the student’s pictures near our classroom door; the toddlers have made such a transformation in appearance and independence! I am delighted to see all they can do!

Future work will include polishing and using the mortar and pestle for crushing. Children will continue to learn about insects as they are still interested in them. Our sensorial work changes materials every two weeks.
