Fourth grade students enjoyed the Ag Fest sponsored by Ohio State University Extension and the Wood County Commissioners. Students experienced a petting farm with animals from the BG FFA, learned about the latest technological advances in farm machinery (drones), were educated on care of horses and learned advances in farm practices that promote healthy water and soil. The day was topped off with a lesson on the chemistry of ice cream as they made a sample with liquid nitrogen!
