Early childhood has been busy preparing special projects for Mother’s Day! Each child worked to create a special project, including decorating and wrapping each gift. We are so excited to share them with families. Also, this week, both classes prepared bean burritos as a food preparation lesson. This culminating work allowed students to use tonging, spooning, spreading, and other practical life skills in the classroom, as well as enjoy diverse food.
East students used a grater, soap, and a whisk to create bubbles! Shell polishing was a work as well as putting clothing onto a hanger.
In West, walking using stilts was added to the movement area and in art, students created a symmetrical butterfly.
