The students have begun exploring with measurement on the Math Unit Shelf. They will be using standard and non-standard forms of measurement with length. They will use a balance scale to find the equivalent weight of mixed objects, as well as finding the weight of objects around the classroom in oz., lbs., kg., and g. using a spring scale. The older students will practice their math skills to figure out conversions.
For our Science Unit, we will discuss recycling and some ways we can all help take care of our earth… one recyclable at a time. We have spent some time admiring and duplicating famous artists’ work for the past couple weeks, we are now going to research and learn about famous composers and their works
