April showers bring May flowers! This week, we learned about flower arranging and made a tulip flower artwork using paint and forks! We finished up a beautiful Mother’s day project and the children are excited to honor their special Mamas. More Practical Life lessons included using a strainer and transferring pins into a salt shaker. A well-loved multi-step work was added to the classroom using shaving cream on table to draw and write in for a sensory experience and then remembering all the steps to wash the table clean and prepare their space for the next friend! At the end of the year, we like to bring out our big, fun movement works so jumping on a trampoline was our movement lesson! Our food preparation work was making and eating a bean burrito! Ask them to make these at home for a yummy snack or meal! They spooned and spread refried beans on a flour tortilla shells, tonged some cheese, and rolled it like a rug! We were so proud of our students for their music performance! Thank you for joining us!

We also enjoyed our last week with our baby chicks. Children loved on them all week. However, the time has come where we had to say goodbye as they now move on to our music teacher, Miss Jennifer’s, farm. We will continue to get updates and pictures as they grow! We are eager to find out their genders! Thank you Miss Jennifer for helping us with this amazing process!
The Kindergarteners enjoyed their field trip to Winter Garden park where they caught tadpoles, hiked, explored the nature center and much more!
