Teamwork! Part of our Montessori Toddler curriculum includes grace and courtesy. Children are involved in team building work to strengthen friendships and character. Pulling that wagon through the stones (as seen in the picture) takes a group effort with lots of communication between students! Children collaborate to make group art, help each other clean up work and preform the many responsibilities with in the classroom.
Language work continues to be a large part of our day. Children work on color matching and picture to object matching. Students have many fiction and non fiction books to choose from. We have had such fun when the librarian comes to visit as well! We continue to talk about the sounds of the first letter in our names. Children have opportunities to use pencils, pens, paint brushes and crayons to work on beginning writing skills.
