Concentration! Can a toddler-age child concentrate? Yes they can! The pictures in this newsletter show you just that! Concentration is a skill that needs practice to improve and develop. Our Montessori toddler classroom provides an environment that offers the time and opportunity to practice deep concentration! The Montessori “uninterrupted work cycle” enables the child to work on a task as long as they wish with few adult interruptions. One of my favorite quotes from Dr. Montessori is this; “The first essential for the child’s development is concentration. The child who concentrates is immensely happy”. Maria Montessori~ Hope this finds you all safe, healthy and happy at home! Sending hugs !
