This week we are working on rounding and estimating numbers on our Math Unit shelf.  Children are taking numbers and rounding them to the nearest 10’s, 100’s and 1000’s place.

Jellybean, our classroom hamster, helped us to observe a live mammal. We are now studying mammals for Zoology. Students are discovering the characteristics of mammals and the many species in our world.
We have moved from Antarctica to the Arctic for Geography. Students are studying the map, physical features and animals that live there.
We are continuing to study presidents and  Famous African Americans in History.
Have a great weekend.
