EC began the week by celebrating the season of Spring! We made “dirt dessert” by whisking pudding, crushing oreo’s and tonging in worms! New science units were also introduced as the East class now learned all about dinosaurs while West explored the wonders of Ocean Life! New sensorial units were also demonstrated including thermic (hot/cold) and pressure cylinders. Both using the sense of touch to match the different temperatures or amounts of pressure.
The East class also added the ratchet and screwdriver tools to Practical Life, created some fun Spring artwork, and used the sensory circles for movement.
The West class practiced care of others through swaddling a baby doll and changing a baby doll’s diaper in Practical Life. They also made beautiful butterfly art using dropper’s of paint!
