So many activities have happened in Upper since we last touched base! We had our Literature Circle sleepover; we had Pi Day (two students memorized over 100 digits of Pi!!!); we made leprechaun traps for St. Patrick’s Day and had a Leprechaun visit over the weekend; we had move-up day for 6th and 3rd years, and we had homework project presentations. Today, Theo’s grandpa donated an outdoor quail cage to our classroom! We have been busy!
We’ve also incorporated multiplication and division of integers, fractions, word problems, essay writing, global warming lessons, ozone layer lessons, hominid family tree lessons, microscopes, circulatory system lessons, and botany work into our school days.
