Recently, the middle schoolers and sixth graders started reading to the kindergartners on Friday afternoons. They have been reading Kenny and the Dragon, a chapter book about a young rabbit who finds a dragon on the hill next to his house.

The middle schoolers have also been working on their identity projects. Identity projects are pieces of artwork – drawing, collage, or sculpture – that represent who the person is. First, they made Identity Cards with their main personality or character traits written on them. Then, they picked out five to ten objects that represented their personal identity. Finally, they are working on their artwork piece.
