We focused on celebrating the Chinese New Year this week in Early Childhood! We created dragon masks and tails and had a special parade with our West and Toddler classroom friends throughout the school. In science, we began investigating magnets and even explored painting with magnetic materials on the art shelf. In art, we painted snowflakes on our easel. We added a listening center to our classroom where students can choose to listen to a book on cd. A gustatory experience this week was taste-testing different types of bread-rye and cinnamon!
We will celebrate the 100th day of school next week-please have your child bring in 100 items that can fit inside a baggie.
