This week, 6th years started planning their 6th-year annual end-of-year trip. This year, students decided they wanted to sell books from 3:00- 3:15 pm in the atrium after school for $4 a book. They plan to start next week and continue daily for as long as possible. They want to raise enough money to go to Put in Bay for their trip. An email from one of our 6th-year students will be coming out soon! This is a really wonderful opportunity for 6th years to practice independence, handling money, organizing, and the ups and downs of taking on responsibility. All information about the trip will come from students! If you have any questions about it, please ask them. They are very excited! Please support them as best as you can without doing it for them.
Yesterday our school hosted Curriculum Night, where families visited the classroom with their children in a 45-minute block of time. Children demonstrated what they’ve been working on using the materials in the room. It’s a great way to witness firsthand what is happening at MSBG.
Quail Donations:
We are looking for some donations for our quail! If you can, below are some items we need to keep them happy and healthy. They are going through these items fast (about a bag of food a week!), so we will take as much of each donation as possible. You can also find the items in the School Sign Up Genius. Thank you so much!
