Happy New Year! Welcome back everyone! Toddlers are busy once again with new materials for January. Our practical life work continues to be real work such as folding towels, sweeping the floor and dusting. Other practical life work of bead stringing (as shone in the picture) and a work of coins placed in the gold box foster fine motor development needed to eventually hold a pencil and learn to write. Math work has been extended to include 1-10 as well as 1-5 work.
Our theme this month will be winter and arctic animals. Many of our works on the shelves reflect this theme. This month we will have story time with Miss Kat from the Wood County Library. We also will celebrate the 100th day of school at the end of this month! 100 days of learning!
Wishing everyone a happy and healthy 2020 !
