This week some students have been working on their verb poster. Each student had to pick a different verb to study and then explore different parts of it. They learned things such as word origin, active vs. passive voice, moods of verbs, participles, gerunds, and infinitives. When students aren’t working on their verb poster, they do an individual study. Some choice are reviewing parts of speech, diagramming sentences, or doing SAT prep practice.
