The middle school, along with the elementary, attended a field trip to Blue Creek Metropark. This location used to be a jail back in the early 1900’s. Now, it is a restored wetlands and education center. While there students learned about native animals from nature’s nursery, went on a nature walk to learn about native species with the metroparks, and about compostable products with the water and soil district. We are very thankful for the beautiful weather that we had on this very educational trip!
