Early Childhood was busy this week with many new works across all curriculum areas! First, our beautiful light table was introduced to the classroom. This work allows children to explore color and shape and how light refraction enhances our colorful, transparent mediums. Our sensory area also introduced our next shape box, the Rectangle Box. In Practical Life, we explored sponge squeezing and our new unit, Nuts, and Bolts. These works continue to emphasize the importance of concentration and independence and strengthen the child’s fine motor skills and coordination. Our new Geography Unit, My State, explores all the unique features of Ohio, and our new Math unit, Measurement, was also introduced.
