Happy Montessori Education Week! We enjoyed celebrating our school and everything we love about Montessori. Our students worked on creating “Peace People” by decorating a wooden cut-out to represent our classroom communities. On our science shelves this week, we added new units on magnetism and the human body. Exploration of these works filled our work-cycle time this week! In Practical Life, we gave lessons on how to dust a shelf and how to braid using a corded braiding board. West students grated crayons on the art shelf, and East students learned how to play the memory game in math.
