Thank you for meeting with us for conferences last week. We appreciate your support and your time! This week your child began studying a new vertebrate, the bird. With this unit, children discover the parts of a bird, the different kinds of beaks, nests, and other interesting facts. We have also begun studying prefix, suffix, and root words on our Word Study shelf.The 3rd year students all visited the Upper Elementary classes for Moving Up Days this week. We hope you saw their paper that told you what they worked on for the morning. They enjoy seeing where they will be next year and visiting with old friends.
