It has been an exciting couple of weeks for our toddlers! We had special guests from the women’s basketball team at Bowling Green State University! It was super fun to hear all about the team. The players enjoyed hanging out with us too!
We added name tracing to our language and pre-writing activities. Children trace their name while teachers sound out the letters in their name. This will also aid in name recognition.
Our older toddlers practiced cutting clay and paper with scissors. This too helps strengthen the muscles and fine movements of the hand and fingers.
As a whole school we celebrated the 100th day of school. Toddlers brought in their 100 item collections, we made a big paper pizza with 100 toppings and completed a 100 exercise movement challenge! Check out our 100 display by the toddler classroom!
We had a great time during “ bring your bear to school day!” It was a time for each child to share their special friend with the class. We practiced turn taking, listening and courtesy as each child showed off their stuffed animal!
Just a reminder that parent teacher conferences are scheduled for February 14th and 15th. Please be sure to bring in your conference forms.
