Our class began exploring our second cultural study of the holiday season, which included the beautiful colors and traditions of Kwanzaa. Students had the opportunity to explore a weaving mat, bead stringing, a Mancala game, and a special Kinara art project. We also introduced new lessons for mirror polishing and a special movement lesson. In our movement lesson, students walked on a line with a bell, learning patience and concentration while keeping the bell silent. Students also learned a new unit in Geography called My Home. This unit focuses on the student’s homes and the unique homes all around the world. Music class this week was filled with excitement and joy as students shared with parents their special program. Thank you for helping to make this a special day!
