December! Toddlers are ready for the smell of pine, the holiday festivities and snow! Children are anxiously awaiting for snow to cover the playground. December work has a festive feel as well. Mark your calendars for our Holiday Party on December 20th from 10am to 11:30 am. Please join us for games, crafts and festive snacks!
Let’s talk about “building community”! In our classroom we value each child and teacher. Together we take care of our environment, our fish and the birds outside our window. We encourage and celebrate each other. Pictured is a recent birthday party for a student. Birthdays are a big deal in the toddler class! We celebrate each birthday with the child sharing baby pictures of themselves and singing “Happy Birthday” as the child holds a tiny light. Community is building friendships. Children share hugs and laughter, tears and accomplishments. Together we are stronger!
Practical life work isn’t just having fun pouring and straining. Practical life work is practice for real life responsibilities. In preparation for Thanksgiving children prepared crescent rolls, made turkey rolls, set the table and made floral arrangements for the tables. Together we made sure there were enough seats and that our room was organized and welcoming for our families! Thank you to all who donated supplies for our celebration.
We welcome Gabriel to our toddler community! Welcome, we are happy you have joined our class!
