The classroom is bustling with activity as we dig into Ecology, studying the Biogeochemical cycles and learning how everything fits together in a global ecosystem. (Shown above: Drawing the Carbon Cycle)

We also began studying the travels of Marco Polo, investigating whether he was a world class explorer and writer, or a charlatan. On exhibit: Marco Polo’s last will and testament, a page from The Travels of Marco Polo, the guest ledger from the Emperor’s palace, and various other artifacts that the students will use to make a case for or against the famous Venetian.

Mustang Cafe will be celebrating National Pastry Day on Tuesday, December 10th. We will celebrate this sacred day with a delightful confection that we have made from scratch! It will prove to be a delicious way to start the day.
