Welcome back from break! Our week was filled with many new units and works as we enter the month of December! Early childhood introduced the next geography unit; my home. We explored what homes can look like all over the world and discussed our own unique houses. We also began studying all about the Holiday of Hanukkah. Students put candles in a menorah, played the dreidel game, created the Star of David, tasted Latkes, and learned many more traditions and customs within the Holiday. In Practical Life, we brought out our gloves and snow pants baskets to help with care of oneself as we observe the colder and snowy days! Polishing a mirror and walking on a line with a bell were also shown. Remember next week is our school’s Book Fair!
