December 20, 2019, Lower North

This week teachers wanted to keep the classroom running as normal as possible. The students were still given check sheets in their folders or planners. All week the children worked diligently in order to get their responsibilities completed. On the history shelf, children were given the opportunity to learn about fun holiday facts with a variety of books and activities to finish on the work shelf.

At the end of the week, students celebrated the time of the year with a Winter Party. Kids were entertained with multiple stations set up in the two Lower Elementary classrooms. These stations included, fun games, winter crafts/activities, hot cocoa, and cookie decorating. Everyone had a wonderful time! We are all very grateful for the parent volunteers who helped at the party and the parents who generously donated the materials needed to make the party a success. We wish you all a happy holiday and a safe, blessed winter break!
