We began studying the traditions and customs of the Christmas holiday. We explored the Nativity story, and students could recreate a Nativity scene. Decorating a Christmas tree was also a new work added to our science and culture shelf. In practical life, we decorated a sugar cookie, spreading icing and using colored sprinkles. Our class explored wrapping, addressing, and delivering a “gift” to a friend this week as well. On the art shelf, we added a candy cane stringing project and painted beautiful wreaths.
Thank you to all of the families who were able to join us for Curriculum Night! We enjoyed sharing our classroom with all of you, and we know how important it is for the children to proudly demonstrate their work to their family.
