This week, students studied constructive and destructive waves, early hominid spiritual needs, factoring, binomials, multiplication, and fractions. Students also completed their first Literature Circle assignments and had their first book group discussions. In biology, students finished up animal cells, and botany started learning about plant cells. 6th years wrapped up muscles and made and took each other’s quizzes.
We also spent much time this week looking at quail eggs! So far, none have hatched. This might be one of the hardest lessons of the year, but for now, we are holding out hope.
