Fantastic beginning to the new school year! The toddler students are getting to know each other, making friends and learning all about Montessori. Students have been introduced to a variety of work in the classroom. Practical life opportunities are plentiful in the toddler classroom. Children are learning to pour, use eating utensils and fold laundry. We enjoy filling our own water cups and pouring our milk at lunch time! Children work on math skills using pegs for movement and counting as pictured above. We love art using markers, crayons and paint which helps to develop fine motor skills and sparks creativity. One of the attached pictures highlights a student with a language work. This little one is matching an object to the picture, developing language and expanding his vocabulary! Stop in and say hello! We love to show off our new skills!
