This Sunday, MSBG will be celebrating Earth Day on our school grounds.  At the Earth Day Celebration there will be activities that will teach us about the environment and what we can do to take care of the Earth. The Earth is our home and what unifies mankind.  In the classroom we study the Earth through our Geography work.  We study Physical Geography and Cultural Geography for each continent.  This week we introduced the continent of Africa.  With this unit students will learn the names of some of the major land and water forms of Africa, the physical geography.  The cultural geography we will explore includes the needs of the African people, including shelter, transportation, food, and music.
