Happy Grandparents and Special Adults week! Thank you for sharing your time to join your families and see what they are doing and learning at school! Our next geography study was on the Continent of Europe. We discussed many countries of Europe, what the flags look like, and some special locations and activities that take place in each, such as trying on wooden clogs from Holland! In honor of Earth Day, we made earth paintings using q-tips and paint. We also continue to check on and care for the grass that we are growing. Our next math unit was on graphing. Students learn about bar graphs to learn about data or information. We explored thermic work in sensorial using our sense of touch to feel hot and cold. Practical Life works included using a strainer to separate liquids from solids and transferring water with tools. These tools included a garlic press and tea bag press. For a peaceful activity, we created a Zen Garden using stones and sand. Our Kindergartners enjoyed a field trip to the BGSU planetarium this week as well!
