We hope you all had a wonderful break. We are getting moments of sunshine and warm weather, which has everyone looking forward to summer. The end of the school year is near, but we have plenty of units to explore and lessons to give.
Our math units are fractions and graphing. The students are discovering what a fraction is, equivalencies, adding fractions with common denominators, finding common denominators, and more. The graphing unit offers the opportunity to explore different kinds of graphs and ways to collect data. Students are practicing with pictographs, bar graphs, pie graphs, and coordinates.
For culture, we are learning about the digestive system. We explore the parts and functions of the mouth, teeth, and the journey from food entering the mouth and finally exiting the body.
Have a peaceful weekend.
