Science minds want to know, “How can we prove that there is air inside this bottle if we can’t see it, smell it or taste it?” Miss Alexis proves that air is matter and takes up space as she blows up a balloon inside a bottle and then seals the bottle and tries it again. Students in the Upper East classroom continue their experiments on the properties of gasses this week in collaborative science.

Our study of Egypt continues with a study of the written language and the number system. Each student produced a cartouche of their name. Next we will study the gods of ancient Egypt.
