It’s the week after Spring Break and everything is getting exciting as we prepare to wind down the year.
We have started our Shakespeare unit for the year. This year we are studying The Insane Dane and the Ghost with the Most, Hamlet. Revenge plots and comical nihilism abound in the classroom.
In Science, we are looking at collisions, creating helmets for our “Bean Brains” to protect them from our ceremonial droppages. What materials will provide the best protection? How fast will they be falling by the time they hit the ground? How much force is generated?
Stay tuned for the answers.
History tasks for the next few weeks will be centered on the Who’s Who and specific battles of the American Civil War.
We are also preparing for our Spring Excursion to Mammoth Caves, KY, where we will tour the miles of cavern, spend community time in the cabin, and experience the independence and social growth of being away from home.
