Early Childhood began the week discussing MLK Jr. and his dream for the world. We read stories and enjoyed coloring pages. In art, children also painted a snowflake at the easel. Both classrooms introduced new Sensorial units! West used their sense of touch to explore baric: heavy/light and East used their sense of hearing to listen for sound/no sound. They also brought out their listening center!
The East classroom enjoyed the beautiful light table to explore a variety of objects. In math, the concept of odd and even numbers was shown and they continued using their fine motor skills as they wrote on a mirror!
The West classroom added the insets to the metal insets for tracing and continued care of oneself with the small button dressing frame. In Practical life they introduced lacing and a new peaceful work was shown; the image captor.
